Community Yoga & Meditation Gathering

Everyone is welcome to this beautiful Community Yoga & Meditation Gathering.

Drop in for any of the sessions or stay the whole night for complete inner nourishment and happiness.

The evening will flows as follows:

6.00pm Hatha Yoga ($12 casual class)
7.30pm Delicious Vegan Dinner made with love (by donation)
8.00pm Kirtan Meditation Circle (donations welcome)

Experience the deeply relaxing and restorative effect of kirtan meditation. This ancient practice can help you overcome stress and anxieties, help relieve tension and calm the mind.

Fully guided breathing, mindfulness meditation, kirtan and amazing delicious food. Come along and enjoy beautiful meditation, relax, and share a meal with like-minded people under the stars (weather permitting)!

Peace. Love. Unity = Yoga Day Festival!

An iconic annual festival commemorating the United Nations International Day of Yoga, enjoy an incredible afternoon of community celebrations for all things yoga!

Held on the beautiful Nightcliff Foreshore, enjoy inspiring yoga flows by much loved local teachers. Wander through our workshop tents filled with relaxing meditation sessions, workshops, Vedic wisdom discussions and more. Round out the day with Yoga Day Festival’s with soaring sacred music for complete peace and nourishment.

Bask in the glow of yoga, feeling grateful for all the ways the yoga lifestyle has given us sanctuary from the demands of everyday life and guided us on the path to self-discovery.

Whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, you will absolutely love Yoga Day Festival!

Restorative Yoga Workshop

The speed at which we all seem to live our lives these days – rushing to and fro with jobs and family commitments – leaves many of us chronically tired and stressed with very few opportunities to recharge our batteries.

This is where Restorative Yoga comes in. It is a deeply relaxing practice – there is no striving to achieve the perfect pose, no ‘working the edge’. It is simply an opportunity for deep relaxation and rejuvenation.

If you’ve been to even one regular yoga asana class then you will find the poses familiar. Your teacher Karli will guide you into each asana where you will be deeply supported by yoga props.

The session will also include yoga nidra, breathwork, and kirtan meditation for holistic nourishment of body, mind and soul. Finish with delicious bliss balls and homemade iced tea!

Meditation can transform our lives so that we experience deeper peace, happiness and clarity of mind. It gives us a firm foundation for our lives so that we can weather the storms of life!

This course is suitable for absolute beginners to advanced practitioners, and consists of guided meditations, mindfulness, yoga philosophy talks, kirtan and Q & A time. Our meditation teachers are warm, friendly and have had 7+ years’ experience in teaching meditation.

The Art of Stretching – Upper Body

Experience two fabulous hours of stretch therapy, focussing on techniques to improve mobility & release tension from the shoulders, neck and back.

Stretch therapy is a safe and effective method for restoring ease into your daily movement. This workshop is suitable for anyone wanting to improve their range of motion in the upper body. Partner exercises will be included as these significantly improve tension release. The workshop will conclude with a deep relaxation to assist the body and mind with repatterning your increased movement capabilities.

Presented by Carmel Taylor, alignment based yoga teacher and a senior stretch therapist and practitioner in the Stretch Therapy system. Carmel’s style is fun, approachable and relevant. she is passionate about sharing this information to help you feel better in your body.
